Friday, 6th March LAST DAY!!!

Hi everyone!!
Thank you to you all for the messages. The English children have really enjoyed staying with the families. They have been treated so well, taken all over the place and showered with gifts. What an experience! The children have been learning so much, joining in the Spanish classes. The joint project has benefitted both lots of children. Yesterday culminated in a Spanish food bonanza! All the families had prepared traditional dishes. They were laid out for all to share. The children were encouraged to taste test, learning the names of the food and deciding which they liked the best. Ok, the teachers had a go as well! The children have their bags packed and are ready to set off for the long journey ahead. Can you believe some of the children don´t even want to go home, but we wont name names! Adios..... see you soon

Hi Holly,

I bet the week has flown by and you can't believe you are coming home already.

Enjoy your trip back...We're looking forward to hearing all about what you've been up to in the last week. Ruby will be so excited when you get home.

See you soon,

Lots of Love

Mummy, daddy and Katie

PS
I'd also like to add my thanks to Mr Ludlow and his team for their hardwork in organising such a great adventure.
You'll probably need the weekend to recover!

Thank you

Hi Reece

Looking forward to seeing you tonight, Becky wants to stay up until you get home (some hope)!

I just want to say a big, big thank you to all your teachers for taking you. When I tell people where you are and what you've been doing, they can't believe it especially at your age! Tracey is right, the teachers DEFINITELY deserve a medal!

Take care and safe trip back to everyone.

Lots love

Yes, I second, third and fourth all the other parents' comments. It is a huge responsiblity to take such young children abroad, and the organisation and undertaking of this trip must have required vast amounts of time and commitment on the part of the teachers and school secretary. My thanks to them all for their dedication.

Hi All

Just a note to say a massive thanks for taking the children on such a fantastic trip.

No doubt you will all have to recover after your busy week. Can't wait to hear all about it over the next few days.

Happy flying.

Its Saturday morning 8.30am and Holly is still fast asleep in bed! Just couldn't resist one last final blog! Will miss our daily updates and the banter backwards and forwards. Dont know about everyone else but in our household it has become part of our lives over the past week. I feel as though I have been able to share this whole adventure with Holly and her friends and teachers. Last night returned safely back to us was one very happy, excited but tired little girl. I am so proud of her! My admiration and thanks go to the teachers and staff who bravely organised this expedition and hope that we can make the return visit of the Spanish children as fun and exciting! Adios
